Use this page to send your music to Akumudzi Bwaiz for a real person to review. Sending music does not mean the music is accepted or published. We check the files, ownership, credits, artwork and service details first.

Not every submission is accepted

Every submission is checked manually. We may approve it, reject it, or ask you to correct something and submit again. Do not assume that payment, uploading a file, or receiving a submission reference means your music has been approved.

Before you send anything

Make sure these things are true

  • You own the music or you have clear written permission from the owner.
  • The beat, sample or loop is legal to use. If another person made it, you must have permission or a licence.
  • Your audio is the final clean file. Do not send a file with another website tag, producer voice tag, demo watermark or broken audio.
  • You can name the real contributors. Know the artist, producer, songwriter and collaborators.
  • You are allowed to use the artwork. Do not send a cover copied from another artist or photographer without permission.
  • Your contact details work. Use an email address and WhatsApp/phone number that you check.

Common reasons for correction or rejection

Why we may not accept a submission

  • We cannot confirm who owns the song, beat, sample or artwork.
  • A beat, sample or loop was used without permission.
  • The audio file is damaged, very poor quality, incomplete or contains another website/producer tag.
  • Important artist, songwriter, producer or collaborator information is missing or false.
  • The artwork or rights information is incomplete.
  • The same submission is repeatedly sent without the requested corrections.
  • The submission breaks copyright, law or platform rules.

A request to resubmit is not always a final rejection. It can simply mean that we need a better file or clearer information.

    The submission can be approved, rejected, or returned for correction and resubmission.

Master / original audio
The final recording of the song that people will listen to. Chichewa: audio yeniyeni ya nyimbo yomaliza.
Composition
The song itself: words, melody and musical writing. Chichewa: mawu, melody ndi mmene nyimbo inalembedwera.
Beat / sample / loop
Music or sound used inside your song. If another person owns it, you need permission. Chichewa: phokoso kapena nyimbo ya munthu wina yomwe mwagwiritsa ntchito.
Rights document
A licence, agreement or other proof showing that you have permission to use or publish the music. Chichewa: chikalata chosonyeza chilolezo kapena umwini.
Split sheet

Artwork
