Akumudzi Bwaiz is a Malawian music platform built around consent, professional presentation and transparent accounting.

We do not search the internet and take songs from artists. The music on our platform must be delivered by an artist, copyright owner, producer, label or authorised representative. Before publication, we review the identity, audio, artwork, credits, licences and contributor percentages supplied to us.

Our public website helps listeners discover songs, artists, releases and original music-business information. Our professional artist portal provides catalogue visibility, qualified usage, sales records, royalty statements and payout requests. Our administrator controls publication so random or unverified artist accounts cannot appear.

We want Akumudzi Bwaiz to work properly on affordable Android phones and slower mobile networks. That is why the platform uses server-rendered pages, compressed artwork, controlled audio loading and minimal JavaScript.

Our long-term purpose is to give Malawian music a clean, legal and valuable digital home while respecting the roles of artists, producers, songwriters, rights holders, COSOMA, payment providers and listeners.
